McAlpine Associates, Inc. began in 1987 with a father/daughter partnership. Mr. McAlpine fondly referred to as "Mr. Mac" had just retired from a 46 year career in real estate in Myrtle Beach. Nancy had been working for 10 years for a small independent firm in Conway. They started a new company in the community that they both loved and would love for a lifetime. The first year they operated out of a small office without any secretarial help. They sold less than one million in gross sales and worked harder than ever. Today, McAlpine leads the Conway area in sales and listings and have moved to a beautiful corporate office downtown on Main Street.

A lot has changed over the past 20 years. Although McAlpine led the Conway market in listings and sales, the principles knew there was room for improvement. In 2002, McAlpine Associates, Inc. joined forces with Century 21. The firm has grown and now has two locations, one in downtown Conway and the other in the Carolina Forest/Myrtle Beach area. In June of 2004, Century 21 McAlpine Associates, Inc., opened their second office at 3876 Renee Drive, Myrtle Beach in the Carolina Forest area. There are 26 full-time real estate agents that require a 4 member support staff, serving real estate needs in the entire Grand Strand area!
